Welcome to the GigE Vision Trac Project

GigE Vision is a camera interface standard of the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) using the Gigabit Ethernet communication protocol. GigE Vision allows for fast image transfer using low cost standard cables over very long lengths. With GigE Vision, hardware and software from different vendors can interoperate seamlessly over GigE connections.

This website hosts the GigE Vision Trac Project. It consists of the following parts:

a Wiki, that is intended as a forum for sharing information between all official GigE Vision technical committee members
a source code repository (using subversion), and finally
a ticket system to report problems or assign homework.
